For almost 50 years, NGT has been bringing natural gas to land safely and successfully. Dutch offshore gas contributes to the security of supply in the Netherlands and reduces our dependency on foreign states for our energy supply.
NGT is a strong advocator of Dutch gas for Dutch households, as Dutch gas has 30% lower CO2 emissions than imported gas. Both for environmental and security of supply reasons, Dutch gas should be preferred over imported gas.
